Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Melbourne, VIC, for a Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will oversee daily operations and maintenance, ensure the smooth functioning of facilities and infrastructure, and manage vendor and contractor relationships. Responsibilities include budgeting and cost control, regulatory compliance, and staff management to maintain a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities management, infrastructure operations, and vendor/contractor oversight
  • Knowledge of budget management, cost efficiency, and financial planning
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in facilities operations
  • Leadership and personnel management skills to supervise staff and contractors effectively
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in project management and planning tools
  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Industry certifications (e.g., IWFM, IFMA) or experience in the property sector would be considered an advantage
