**The Role***

Our Maritime Team based in Sydney is currently seeking an experienced ERP Specialist to work as part of the Maritime ERP Implementation Team within the NSSG Maritime Sustainment Division.

The person will be accountable to the DMEL Director for ERP and for the management of program elements specifically related to Testing and Training. Their primary role will be as the ‘Maritime ERP Lead for Training and Testing’. They will have secondary duties as required to support the Maritime ERP program implementation and Tranche 3 explore phase, dependant on the requirements of the program at the time. This role will require them to actively manage the testing and training aspects of the Maritime ERP rollout. To conduct this role, they will build working relationships with both the end users of the system, as well Defence and CASG ERP teams to ensure timely understanding of actions and requirements, and to ensure that they are enacted across Maritime. Other critical outcomes for the ERP Training Lead include:

- Keeping the ERP implementation team informed of risks and issues associated with ERP testing and training relevant to the Maritime domain.
- Reporting on the Maritime community training uptake and progress.
- Providing business readiness reports in the format as agreed by the Maritime ERP Team Lead to meet ERP program readiness deliverables associated with testing and training.
- Coordinating the Maritime contribution to ERP testing and make recommendations for improvement.

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess**:

- Relevant tertiary degree in Engineering, Business or Finance (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience working in the Defence Maritime environment.
- Experience working on the Defence ERP program.
- Prior coordination of training delivery or system testing.
- A systems or software background (i.e. software implementation experience).
- Ability to undertake work of a very complex nature, under broad direction.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Project or program management experience delivering similarly complex systems / solutions in large organisations.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong skills working both within a team or independently.

**This role is based in Defence Plaza Sydney and requires a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance.**
