**Our Purpose**

United for Care offers independent living for members of the community to live in individual apartment accommodation with 24 hour support in our Vertical Villages. **The Position**

As the National NDIS Support Co-ordination Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our expansion across NSW and into Victoria and Queensland over the next 6-12 months. You'll have the unique opportunity to build a dynamic, high performing national team and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across our group. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for:
**Team Building and Leadership**: Assemble, lead, and inspire a national team of NDIS support coordinators, creating a vibrant and supportive environment that encourages growth and excellence. Develop and implement customer centric tools to ensure your team of support coordinators truly embody choice and control when unpacking a participant NDIS goals and needs.

**Program Management**: Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of support co-ordination programs, ensuring services are delivered in a timely, effective, and participant-centred manner. Monitor and undertake regular reviews of participant satisfaction and goal tracking to ensure a quality service is delivered.

**Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, community organisations, and funding bodies to ensure seamless and effective support delivery.

**Sector knowledge**: Maintain a sound knowledge of the NDIS, formal, mainstream and community funded supports available to participants. Keep abreast of new service providers and innovative solutions within the disability community to ensure the team is always suggesting advanced solutions to participants. Build strong relationships with reputable organisations to ensure participants we support have access to quality options.

**Communities of Practice**: Establish communities of practice within the wider disability community to exchange knowledge and best practice in supporting people living with disability.

**Compliance and Quality Assurance**: Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines. Develop and monitor quality assurance processes for continuous improvement in service delivery. Manage critical incidents and report any breaches of Disability Service Standards.

**Strategic Planning**: Actively contribute to the strategic planning of United for Care by providing insights and recommendations based on trends, gaps, and opportunities identified through the support co-ordination services.

**About You**

Your passion for providing exceptional service to participants, particularly those with physical and psychosocial disabilities, and those affected by homelessness, will drive the success of our support co-ordination services nationwide. You will bring to this role:

- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in a management role within the disability or community services sector, with emphasis on support co-ordination or case management.
- Comprehensive understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the complexities associated with psychosocial disabilities and homelessness.
- Proven ability to build and manage teams across multiple states.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Dynamic leadership skills with a collaborative and inclusive approach
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, robust problem-solving skills and strategic mindset.
