**Learn and Laugh Children’s Centre in Alexandria is **purpose-built and offers quality care to 90 children per day, 5 days per week.** **Learn and Laugh was established in 2004 and continues to offer unique employment opportunities, with a focus on career development and opportunities to learn and grow.**

**The Role**
As a Nominated Supervisor/Childcare Centre Manager, you are responsible for the guidance, support and general supervision of children, staff, and volunteers at the service. You are expected to lead a team of Educators to ensure they are working in accordance to the service philosophy, policy and procedures, and as per the National Quality Standards (NQS), to provide high quality education and care for all enrolled children. You will be responsible for the day-day running of the centre while complying with all relevant laws and educational frameworks governing childcare as well as managing the financial affairs of the facility. You will be working hand-in-hand with a second Childcare Centre Manager working together to oversee the running of the day. Shifts will be between the hours of 6am-7pm and working 37.5 hours per week. This is a permanent and fulltime position.

**Salary**: 62,000-70,000 per annum

**Essential Criteria**
- 1+ years' experience managing a childcare service or 2+ years as an Childcare Centre Co-Ordinator
- Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (approved by ACECQA) or working towards this qualification.
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Ability to work shifts between 6.00am - 7.00pm
- First Aid Certificate
- Ability to make business decisions and work with assigned budgets.
