As an **Inventory Controller**, you will be based in **Sydney, NSW,** and report to the Supply Chain Manager. You will lead and manage all aspects related to inventory visibility, accuracy, movements, and costs and ensure all inventory-related controls are in place, cycle stock takes, stock discrepancies, and adjustments are accounted for in an accurate and timely manner. **Responsibilities** - Ensure a full understanding of the inventory movements to best fit the business SI &OP demand and market change requirements. - Inventory - report on MTS make-to-stock (minimum & maximum), MTO make-to-order, goods, SLOBs, and aging of inventory, reworks, and returns, and initiate stock replenishment requests. - Propose improvements in goods movement efficiency and best practices in minimizing MTS, MTO, SLOB inventory, costs, stock losses, and discrepancies across both internal and external storages. - Work with warehouse teams in FIFO on goods rotations. - Implement procedures and lead a regular cycle count to maintain inventory accuracy. - Coordinate with warehouse team and co-lead in NSW region annual stock takes for both internal and external storages. - Identify and investigate the cause for all inventory discrepancies (positive and negative) with support across teams. - Prepare reports for management on all inventory stock levels, including MTS make-to-stock, MTO make-to-order, SLOB, aged inventory, rework, return, and stock adjustments. - Coordinate the Interplant Transfers from NSW to other PPG storages and ensure the physical inventory movements match to ERP. - Manage, reconcile, and report on AUS CHEP product movements. - Backup tasks to domestic logistic freight booking and freight documentation preparations. **Qualifications** - Minimum 5 years of experience in similar inventory roles. - Structured project management and ability to turn strategy into actions and results. - Qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or similar. - ERP experience of over 3 years is ideal. - CHEP experience is a bonus. - Knowledge of ERP systems. **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated, and proactive.
