**The Opportunity**

In this role you will carry out warehouse activities including forklift work, manual handling, general warehouse/yard work, administration and stock control.

**Y**
**our typical day will include**:

- Safe operation of forklift and other plant machinery
- Make-up of orders ready for shipping, including manual handling of sliding sheets onto stacks
- Daily pre-starts on mobile plant machinery
- Loading and unloading goods including inspection, despatch and issuing inventory
- Ensuring inventory records are maintained including stocktaking, stock monitoring, stock returns and excess stock disposals
- Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders to ensure timely, safe and accurate completion of tasks
- General yard and plant maintenance and housekeeping

**hat we’ll love about you**
- Previous experience in a hands-on role, experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable but not essential
- Excellent people skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Current LF Forklift Ticket (highly regarded)
- Current Driver’s Licence
