Your Opportunity:

- Responsible for managing the planning and execution of HR activities, programs and initiatives - delivering a mind-blowing service to associates.
- Manage the onboarding of associates and review all employment contracts.
- Exhibit a thoughtful, purposeful, and intentional approach by assisting with the facilitation of associates' orientation programs whilst liaising with other key departments leaders.
- Manage all areas of recruitment whilst following talent acquisition requirements.
- Strategically manage all aspects of the employee life cycle in collaboration with your Human Resources Team.
- Plan, organise and execute TakeCare events so associates feel connected and immersed within the Pier One culture.
- Assist with creating the hotel’s talent acquisition strategy, networking with local organisations and attending external recruitment fairs.
- Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.
- Assist with ensuring employee files containing required employment paperwork are properly maintained and secured for the required length of time, focusing on attention to detail.
- Assists with managing Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and manage costs.

- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career in Human Resources.
- Self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment.
- A people person with a can-do attitude.
- Valid police check.
