Implement Essendon Football Club's fan engagement strategy by ensuring growth of the fan base and operational requirements of game day as our Fan Engagement Coordinator.

Essendon FC - “The Bombers” - are a professional sporting team in the Australian Football League. As home to 5 sporting teams, we run our AFL men’s and women’s programs, VFL women’s and men’s programs, and a wheelchair football team. But we’re more than the game. **About the role**

As our Fan Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for the implementation of the Club’s fan engagement strategy, ensuring growth of the fan base while also increasing engagement of existing fans. You will manage the operational requirements of game day, including content uploads and schedules for venues, compilation of relevant documentation and facilitating collaboration across Club football and administration departments. You’ll also responsible for managing the adherence to club policy and procedures for all fan engagement activities, including the completion of risk assessments.

Under the guidance of our Game Day & Fan Development Manager, you will manage the execution of key fan engagement events and activities, including junior participation and match day experience programs.

**About you**

With a tertiary qualification in Sport, Business or Marketing, you will be a proactive team player with a can-do attitude. You will ideally have a strong understanding of the AFL landscape. You’ll pride yourself of your keen attention to detail and excellent written and communication skills. Alongside your skills, you’ll have a strong work ethic and a preparedness to work irregular hours according to the demands of a professional football industry, including evenings and weekends as required for game day and club event delivery.
