Maxima's client, based in Darra, is seeking several experienced Assistant Technical Officers (Chemistry), to join their team for a casual assignment.

Working Monday to Friday, 38 hour weeks, you are responsible for the provision of timely analytical activity and throughput and will participate in regular rotations to ensure the widest possible chemistry and biosciences experience.

Casual hourly pay $30- $33.75 depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carry out a specified range of complex tests to verify that specifications are met and to reject nonconforming material or articles
- Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats
- Review non-compliance issues and find solutions to ad hoc problems within an assigned unit or discipline
- Conduct complex analyses, quality tests and inspections that require a high level of independent judgment
- Use data management systems to access specific information as and when required
- Produce, update and provide best practice support on a wide range of MS documents, databases and other departmental systems to support the work of more senior colleagues

**About You**:

- Diploma in science, engineering OR equivalent experience
- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)
- Hard working and reliable
- Passionate about Sciences
