Our innovation extends into our Information Technology division of the business too. This role will work closely with our amazing internal stakeholders to ensure streamlined and efficient functioning of our IT equipment, systems and platforms.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced IT Support Officer to join our supportive and high performing team. We're seeking an individual who is ready to make a significant impact on the success of the IT department and play a pivotal role in delivering excellence to the business and support our expansive branch network.

This role will be based at our Head Office in Darra, QLD and will require the successful candidate to work from our office during the training period. A hybrid working model will be offered following successful completion of the training period. Travel between branches may be required from time to time to cater to business requirements.

Duties of the role include (but certainly are not limited to):

  • Provide Level 1 & 2 technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Administer user accounts, workstation groups, and group objects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support IT solutions.
  • Conduct regular system audits and perform troubleshooting as needed.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of IT systems and data.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of IT documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and recommend technology upgrades.

Ideal candidate attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Advance Diploma in Information Technology or related field highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years' proven experience in IT technical support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent rapport building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reliable, effective and efficient in their work.
  • Abides by company safety policies and procedures.
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence.
