Account Manager

**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join Ecolab’s Textile Care division. We are the market leader, providing our commercial laundry partners with services, products, and equipment to help them operate more efficiently and in an environmentally conscious manner.

Reporting directly to the District Manager QLD you will be responsible for the management of Ecolab’s business at our commercial laundry partners across the southeast Queensland region, in addition to developing and implementing improvements to customer operations.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels
- Proactively identify, develop, and implement solutions to improve results, customer service experience and total cost
- Devising unique solutions for our partners as their expert on advanced laundry cleaning and sanitation
- Maintaining and servicing Ecolab dispensing equipment on customer’s sites
- Analyse and review, with the Ecolab Team, business results, growth opportunities and action plans
- Prepare and hold periodic business reviews with customer accounts
- Travel to client accounts on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis

This is an exciting opportunity for a trades or technical person to enter a field-based sales role.

**By nature, you will ideally demonstrate**:

- The ability to work independently with a customer service orientation.
- Exceptional listening, communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with our internal and external stakeholders
- Understand the customers vision for their business and work together to achieve their goals
- A hands-on problem-solving background with the ability to anticipate customer concerns and sees problems through to resolution
- Excellent planning, time management, organisational and problem-solving skills
- The capability to communicate solutions and protocols in a way that’s easily understandable

**Technically speaking you will preferably have**:

- Experience of working in an industrial laundry or similar industrial background
- Experience in a sales environment or as an Account Manager is advantageous.
- Experience working with and knowledge of computers (e.g. MS Office suite)
- An unrestricted driver license.
