Medibank’s Health Services, Amplar Health, brings together our Telehealth and Homecare programs and services, to deliver greater value and quality health and wellbeing outcomes for our customers, members and patients. In this role you will manage the retention and growth of a customer portfolio within Telehealth and will have overall responsibility for the management of the relationship with external customer stakeholders including contract management and program evolution / optimisation to support that goal.
**Reporting to the Senior Relationship Manager, your main goals will be to**:
- Partner with our clients and enhance relationships for your client portfolio with a focus on client retention, program growth opportunities, contract management/deliverables and optimising financial outcomes.
- Negotiate new opportunities, issues and contractual matters with clients in a positive manner, endeavouring to achieve ‘win-win’ outcomes.
- Identify and assist with business development opportunities including developing and presenting new business proposals and attending client meetings and other external stakeholder activities.
- Leverage the existing services and capabilities within your client portfolio and within our business to develop new programs, products and referral campaigns, including the development of client proposals.
- Engage Operations staff to ensure that Amplar is fulfilling its contractual obligations and, where possible, driving opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the management of projects that may occur from time to time as part of development of the program.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity and can be based anywhere although ideally you will be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane metro area. Some travel, locally or interstate will be required for this role and as such Covid vaccination is required. It will also have an on-call component which would be 1 week every 4-6 weeks.
**About You**
**Where you can add value**:
- Extensive experience in managing customer relationships and dealing with complex commercial issues and program-based services, ideally within the health or human services sector.
- Ability to proactively scope, develop and execute on business proposals and manage complex contracts
- You are an effective communicator and have demonstrable ability to build relationships with new and existing customers.
- Business writing skills to support the requirement to prepare contracts, briefings, business reports and presentations.
- Clinical or hands-on experience with Telehealth would be highly regarded.
