**Role Overview**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Uniting SA’s Housing team as the Manager, Tenancy Services. The Manager, Tenancy Services is responsible for leading the Housing Services Tenancy and Independent Living Units team and ensure services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner working within applicable legislative regulations, guidelines and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage the tenancy strategy in collaboration with the Senior Manager Housing Services
- Provide role clarity and ongoing feedback to direct reports on their performance ensuring their development needs are met
- Ensure new starters and existing team members comply with organisational policies and procedures
- Take an active lead with meetings including, but not limited to, teamwork group, partnership and tenancy/support agency meetings.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team in the overall management of the service
- Liaise and negotiate with other stakeholders in regard to tenant wellbeing, e.g. relatives, support workers, Office of the Public Trustee and advocates.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and engage a team
- Experience in tenancy/property management highly desirable
- Experience with Independent Living Units highly desirable
- Knowledge of current Residential Tenancy legislation
- Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act and Regulations
- Sound knowledge of alternate housing options available to people who are homeless or experiencing housing stress
