Reporting to the Product Supervisor Minestar**,** the Technology Product Specialist** **will be the Subject Matter Expert in Caterpillar Command technology products with a focus to provide expert technical support to WesTrac stakeholders and customers. We have two exciting opportunities in our Specialist team, one is centred around onboard technology and the second is focused of offboard/software products.

Our onboard opportunity is aimed at someone with an Auto-Electrical, Mechatronics or Fleet Management Systems support background to move into a role with a dual purpose, customer service and technical product troubleshooting whilst gaining exposure to world first Mining technology. Our offboard opportunity is aimed at someone with an IT Software, Systems Administrator or Fleet Management Systems Controller or Builder background to move into a role with a dual purpose, customer service and technical product troubleshooting whilst gaining exposure to world first Mining technology.

The suitable person for this role will be flexible, highly professional, and focused on working in partnership with all teams in the technology division, as well as actively contributing to the development of technical documentation, product training, advanced analysis and resolution of technology related issues.

**Key focus areas where you will make a difference**:

- Provide high level specialist support and services to customers on a specific or limited expertise range of Caterpillar technology products such as MineStar office
- Providing development and support to the WesTrac Autonomous Training Facility
- Consult with all stakeholders through identification and scoping of technical compatibilities and requirements to deliver on required end solution

- Demonstrated experience within a similar role and environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with the ability to cultivate relationships at all levels
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot, ideally in a support environment
- Highly developed negotiation, mentoring and influencing skills

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our WA Technology Office in the Perth Airport Precinct.
