CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay has an exciting opportunity for a STEP House lead to join our growing and supportive STEP program

**About the role**

The Program Manager STEP will coordinate the day-to-day operational functions of the house ensuring that young people are cared for in line with the principles of therapeutic care. This position has a key role in ensuring that best practice outcomes are achieved for the children and young people in our care.

**Duties**
- Manage the daily operations of the residential care houses.
- Collaborate and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Child/Young Person’s support.
- Provide leadership and supervision of Permanency Support Program staff.
- Comply with all internal and external reporting requirements.
- Be involved in program development.
- Lead and coordinate youth workers and staff in the house.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma qualifications in an appropriate area which may include, Community Services, Social Work, Social Science, Welfare, Psychology, Health, Education or related discipline.
- Current valid Australian driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Ability to work across multiple places of work and in community settings.
- Ability to work after hours and weekends if required.
- Rostered 24/7 on-call (periodically providing phone and/or onsite support).
