The Town of Port Hedland has an amazing opportunity for a
**HR Business Partner** to join their team.

Role purpose:
The role of the
**HR Business Partner** will be to support the organisation in all aspects of operational HR by providing effective technical advice in the areas of
**human resource management, recruitment and selection and employee relations.**

**To be successful for this position applicants will need to have**:
**Essential**:

- Degree qualifications in **Human Resources**, **industrial relations** or similar, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Comprehensive experience in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including negotiations skills building stakeholder relationships.
- Significant knowledge of contemporary HR practices & processes.
- Significant experience in the ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements, policy and procedures and provide advice to employees and management.
- Demonstrated competence in conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis, systems implementation and continuous business improvement.

**Desirable**:

- Previous Local Government Experience
