The School operates within the **Social Impact arm of the YMCA**, and as such, the service delivery of both the School and other Social Impact programs are often inter-related to maximise impact.

**The YMCA Vocational School** is a multi-campus educational community based in Logan, North Lakes, Ipswich, Redlands and Acacia Ridge.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
This role is based in **Kingston, QLD**. You will be responsible for our social impact arm of YMCA Brisbane including Youth and Education, Breakfast Program, Social Housing, Disability and Social Enterprise. As an Impact and Innovation Lead you are a capacity builder across each of these program areas.

**Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to**:

- Develop and update and implement monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) framework for key organisational programs and projects.
- Lead the on-going development, implementation and continuous improvement of a whole-of-organisation MEL framework, including the development of organisational policies, practices and standards, to ensure a coordinated and best practice approach in evaluation and evaluative thinking.
- Lead a process to develop the MEL capacity of managers and other staff across the YMCA Social Impact.
- Providing advice guidance and practical support to senior staff members to ensure the seamless integration of the MEL framework in the development and implementation of strategic planning.
- Establish and manage and annual budget for Impact and Innovation, including producing annual reports.
- Foster and manage productive partnerships with key external stakeholders.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Service or relevant discipline with an evaluation and monitoring component
- Demonstrated experience leading MEL of program and projects in the not-for-profit sectors
- Strong demonstrated ability in building an organisational evaluation culture, including building the capacity or staff at all levels in the use of monitoring and evaluation approaches, with experience in organisational change, coaching, facilitation and delivering hands-on practical training
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Computer literacy and prior experience using a range of office software including Word, Excel and SPSS
- Demonstrated well-developed project coordination skills and relevant recent experience;
- Possess or willingness to obtain a Blue Card and a national criminal history check prior to commencement of employment;
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications and driver’s licence;
