**Overview**

Support the Head of Risk in maintaining risk policies and procedures, as well as driving the improvement of Risk Appetite metrics. The Risk team prides themselves on doing the right thing by their customers, as well as supporting the transformation and growth of the business, whilst continually working through uplifting the risk maturity and promoting best practise.

**Role and Responsibilities**

You will assist the Head of Risk to lead, manage and evolve effective risk management processes, including:

- Managing essential documentation relating to the organisations Risk Management Framework.
- Reporting against risk appetite, including further enhancing and expanding the suite of Key Risk Indicators.
- Contribute to management and board risk reports.
- Managing the Business Continuity and Incident Management Frameworks and the relevant supporting processes.
- Support business on risk issues.
- Continually drive the improvement to further strengthen risk management processes.

**Desired experience**
- Proven experience in Risk Management either from Line 1 or Line 2, ideally from an insurance background or broader financial services
- Understanding of prudential standards will be a big plus
- Ability to work in a team aswell as autonomously to meet business objectives
- Excellent and effective interpersonal, written and communication skills and attention to detail
- Innovative mindset with ability to think the bigger picture and present new ideas to ways of doing things
