Our WA client is seeking to engage an Advisor - Health & Wellbeing on a full-time basis, for 5months.

**Position Purpose**

Provide diverse and varied Health and Wellbeing program support on a wide variety of activities such as workplace inspections, risk assessments, collation of data, drafting of plans to continually improve the Corporations health and wellbeing culture and outcomes, and ensure legislative and corporate requirements are met.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Assist coordinating and then participate with guidance, in workplace inspections and risk assessments and the preparation of reports to ensure compliance with Corporate, legislative requirements.
- Assist with the collation of health data including hygiene sampling.
- Monitor incident, health and hygiene data, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and participate in the identification and development of strategies to address trends.
- Assist to develop action plans to address identified health and wellbeing risks.
- Assist in the administration of injury management and workers compensation processes within the Branch.
- Support health promotions activities and development of plans as required.
- Provide advice and support for minor incident investigation and reporting.
- Proactively coordinate and perform administration support across the Section including but not limited to the organisation of meetings, agenda preparation, minutes, general correspondence, team scheduling and diary management.
- Participate in providing a health and wellbeing centre of expertise within the Corporation.
- Participate in the development, delivery and maintenance of health and wellbeing education, training and promotional packages.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Tertiary level qualification in Occupational Safety and Health or a related discipline, or considerable experience and demonstrated capability of providing related support services in an Occupational Safety and Health discipline within a large multi-disciplined commercial organisation, or
- Relevant experience in, or demonstrated capability of providing, an Occupational Safety and Health discipline within a large multi-disciplined commercial organisation.
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant OSH Legislation including Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice.
- Knowledge of OSH Principles and contemporary OSH management practices.
- High level interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Good conceptual and analytical skills.
- Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high performance culture.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (Desirable)
- Experience in the use of SAP computer systems (Desirable)
- Experience in using OSH information management systems (Desirable)
