A newly created role for an experienced WHS Advisor to promote and drive safety and wellbeing initiatives. **Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor** Our client is embracing a new focus on promoting the safety and wellbeing culture of the business and have created this new role within the wider HR team. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this role will be instrumental in developing, implementing and maintaining the WHS, injury management and wellness capability across the organisation. **About the role;** - Promote and role model health, safety and wellbeing behaviours - Partner with key stakeholders to build WHS capability and develop safety and wellbeing strategy - Provide advice, support in line with currently WHS regulations and legislation - Review existing policies and procedures around health, safety and wellbeing - Promote injury prevention and management - Analyse safety data to complete timely and accurate WHS reporting to senior leaders - Support managers and HR business partners in managing work health and safety issues - Provide safety management advice in relation to training and development programs - Participate in WHS audits - Identify WHS training requirements and develop the material and content as required **About you;** - Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety - Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role - Excellent understanding of WHS regulations and legislation - Demonstrated ability to analyse and review safety data and present reports to the leaders - Ability to investigate incidents and accidents This is a role where you will bring your passion for health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace and champion the safety and wellbeing culture. You will drive the behaviour and thoughts around this to the leadership team.
