This Government Agency requires an Assistant Procurement Officer to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Sydney CBD and offers remote working flexibility.

**Your new role**

In your new position, you will provide the procurement support and business administration to the organisation. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day work priorities within parameters approved and guidance given by the supervisor. You will complete data entry of routine financial transactions such as raising purchase requisitions, administering travel requests and purchasing services, updating and maintaining databases such as the contracts register. You will deliver a wide range of administrative support functions including, records management, routine purchasing, drafting routine correspondence and template documents accurately with attention to detail, within set time frames. You will work with procurement and business partners to assess their business needs and undertake analysis to advise on simple procurement. You will work in a team environment to deliver business support. You will liaise and work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role you will have qualifications in Business Administration Support (or similar) and/or substantial experience in administrative support roles. You will be able to manage your own day-to-day work priorities.You will be able to work well as part of a team. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills.
