Financial Services Firm seeks a Procurement Officer to join their team at a great rate of pay (Sydney CBD)

**Your new company**

This leading financial services firm requires a Procurement Officer to join their team at a great rate of pay. This role is a 6 month assignment and is located in Sydney CBD and offers hybrid working flexibility.

**Your new role**

In your new position, you will onboard suppliers and monitor supplier compliance in relation to policy, process, legislation, etc. You will evaluate, identify, and address new supplier risks and seek input from other functions as appropriate. You will liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You will m_aintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records including purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices and contract data. You will p_repare adhoc reports on procurement activities and trends, and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will c_oordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and resolve any issues or discrepancies._

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will have procurement experience and strong problem-solving, analytical skills. You will collaboratively work within the team, under pressure and meet deadline. You will have strong time management, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
