**The Role**
The Hunter Class Frigate Project (HCF) is a multi-billion dollar undertaking to deliver nine Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigates as part of RAN’s future combat effort to provide a highly connected and interoperable surface combatant force.

We are looking for highly flexible, detail orientated and collaborative people to join our high performing team.

Roles available include:
APS5 Cost Modeller (Assist and Contribute) and APS6 Senior Cost Modeller (Lead and Instruct):

- Costing and pricing;
- Data analysis;
- Assurance and investigation;
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement; and
- Review of project scope amendments including assessment of cost and schedule implications.

APS6 Senior Finance Officer:

- Management of financial aspects of head contract;
- Monthly invoice and indexation assurance;
- Assurance and compliance;
- Investigation and analysis of costs; and
- Preparation of reports and forecasts for Project Executive.

APS4 Finance Officer:

- Invoice processing;
- Management of commitments;
- Simple procurement; and
- Preparing monthly reconciliations and cost registers.

The Cost Estimation and Finance teams fulfil essential problem solving, reporting and assurance activities that facilitate timely decision making by the Project Executive. The teams have a supportive and client focused culture suitable for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic working environment that welcomes innovation and critical thinking.

Cost Estimation Team Functions:

- Evaluation of Prime Contractor’s formal response to Build Scope Statement of Work cost and schedule estimates;
- Undertaking of ‘ad hoc’ analysis and modelling of project cost data;
- Preparation of internal and external cost estimation correspondence; and
- Executive reporting and strategic data analysis.
- Finance Team Functions:

- Liaison with Prime Contractor and collaboration with diverse stakeholders in completing Allowable Cost Reviews, budget adequacy reviews and project assurance;
- Monthly dashboards, KPI analysis and Executive reporting;
- Financial compliance and assurance for entire project; and
- Provision of project wide financial policy and process guidance.
- Data analysis to facilitate preparation of well-structured options and timely decision making;
- Analytical and problem solving skills;
- Well-developed research skills;
- Initiative and critical thinking; and
- Curiosity and ability to think laterally.
