
Communications Coordinator

As Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting strategic internal communication and engagement plans and collateral for major programs/initiatives that will drive connecting and engagement across the team. This role will work collaboratively with all parts of the business to provide communications, advice and support.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute effective enterprise communication campaigns and activities in support of organisation priorities and objectives
- Develop and coordinate communication content and collateral to drive team engagement
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders organisation-wide, and be known as a 'go to' person for information and advice on communication activities and processes
- Contribute to internal communications planning and strategy execution
- Write and coordinate compelling and engaging content
- Update and manage content on website, intranet and internal social collaboration channel - Workplace
- Monitor and update social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)
- Monitor and manage the team inboxes and intranet communication resources
- Deliver basic desktop design, including communication templates, posters, social graphics and updating presentations, brochures and publications
- Basic video advice editing to support team member DIY video production and sharing
- Maintain team systems and processes, calendar of activities and work in progress reporting
- Build, manage and maintain strong relationship with an organisation wide administrative / communication champions network to facilitate cut through of enterprise comms activity and messaging and build engagement
**Skills, Competencies and Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline (current or in progress) viewed favourably
- Demonstrated event management and organisational skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong skills working in SharePoint and with the Microsoft 365 suite - proficiency in Teams and PowerPoint in particular an advantage
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other desktop publishing and design packages desirable
- Flexible, creative team player willing to step into whatever is required to get the job done
- Ability to work well with other people
- Demonstrate integrity in all you do
- Service oriented and willing to go the extra mile for great team and business outcomes
