**About the role**

It is an exciting time at ahm as we look for a Product Designer to join the ahm design team and our ‘Service Squad’. The Service Squad is responsible for driving ahm’s service transformation strategy, with our primary objective being to create a brilliant digital service experience and driving member adoption, to reduce calls and improve the overall Customer Experience.

As a Product Designer you will tackle complex problem spaces and opportunities and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs for many - from the first-time customer to the loyal long-timer.

**In this role, some of the things you will be doing include, but aren’t limited to**:

- Innovate existing experiences.
- Design and enhance product experiences across platforms.
- Utilise various research methods to understand user behaviour.
- Create user-friendly designs - Address the fundamental needs and tasks of our users, translating them into user-friendly, accessible design solutions.
- Analyse designs critically for improvements.
- Craft basic UX content following guidelines e.g., our tone of voice guide
- Define success metrics with Product Managers.
- Contribute to the collaborative design team culture by actively participating in discussions and rituals.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders e.g., Researchers, Product Managers, Engineers etc.
- Confidently present work and findings to both squads and the broader business
- Drive concepts from ideation to delivery.
- Advocate for the customer throughout the design process and champion their needs.
- Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative teams.
- Engage and inform teams through workshops and open communication during the research and discovery phases to maintain alignment and transparency.

**Some of the skills and experience that we’re looking for**:

- Experience working in fast paced agile teams is preferred.
- Have worked in Product Design, UX or UI role for 2-4+ years
- Experience in designing and shipping software/product experiences for multiple device types and contexts.
- Experience designing both Android and Apple platforms.
- Facilitation and presentation skills.
- Fluency with Figma, Dovetail, Miro, Maze, Survey Monkey, and other research tools for collaborating, designing, prototyping, and testing.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Ability to help product managers prioritise and estimate initiatives based on feasibility, desirability, and viability.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within an Agile product development environment.
- Time management skills and a proven ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
- The ability to work in a self-directed manner and communicate effectively.
