About the role:
As an Experience Designer, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences at AGL, by analysing user behaviour data and collaborating with the optimization team to refine designs for better usability and performance. You will also partner closely with the Content Production team to translate user and business requirements into compelling, effective digital experiences. Your role is essential in aligning design elements with broader business goals, ensuring the creation of seamless and impactful digital interactions that exceed user expectations.

What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with the website production team, designers, and product owners to create high-quality designs, images, and compelling user experiences that align with business and user needs.- Partner with the optimization team to analyse user behaviour data, refine designs iteratively, and improve usability and performance.- Communicate concepts clearly through user flows, sketches, wireframes, and polished visuals, ensuring consistency with the Design System and brand identity across digital touchpoints.- Conduct research and testing, including competitor analysis, user interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design improvements.- Stay informed about industry trends and UX best practices, ensuring designs remain competitive and aligned with evolving standards.- Actively engage in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional meetings to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.

About you:
- Previous experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects.- Completed an accredited course in UX Design, gaining comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in user experience including research, prototyping and usability testing.- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is highly desirable.
