Our client is currently expanding and looking for an experienced Bid Manager to play a key role in their national team.

You will join an energetic and motivated group of people to pursue leads and bids in a variety of sectors and geographies. You know how to create winning submissions and are adept at driving the contributions of others. You will be responsible for the management, creation and delivery of high-quality tenders and submissions.

Ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality products, managing a smooth process, and working reliably to tight deadlines are key. You bring good communication skills, can write well and are both a willing collaborator and able to work autonomously. You to be creative in your approach and bring your thinking to the table.

You will have experience managing bids and submissions, or have a track record in a built environment company and looking to move into this type of role.

**Key accountabilities**

**Bid Strategy & Management**:

- Track opportunities through tender portals and other sources such as invitations
- Liaise with Directors and other senior staff on a Go/No Go strategy
- Create, execute, and manage the entire bid strategy
- Project manage all components of a bid from start to finish including submission of final document/s and management of follow up queries
- Manage and proactively communicating with team members to ensure responses are complete, compliant, compelling and are delivered in a timely manner
- Contribute to writing and editing - including being able to adapt to the appropriate tone of each bid and ensure a consistent voice and narrative throughout the bid
- Work in the document (InDesign) and collaborate closely with graphic and other designers
- Organise interviews if required, and post-bid reviews with both clients and within the organisation

**Overall Submissions Administration**:

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and well organised library of bid materials and collateral such as templates, CVs, methodology, project pages
- Organise feedback sessions to reflect on feedback from post tender interviews
- Maintain a robust filing system in accordance with our Quality systems
- Maintain a clear project contacts list and system for tracking submission performance until Bid success or failure

**Key Skillset required**:

- A proven track record working on submissions and bids, preferably with experience within architecture, the built environment, or creative industries
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills including the ability to plan and prioritise activities, work across a range of projects and meet deadlines
- A proactive attitude and effective team communication skills working with a range of people across multiple studios
- Strong editing and writing abilities
- Competence in graphic design and desktop publishing (including InDesign)
- Exceptional attention to detail including understanding the requirements of tenders and submissions
- A sense of pride and ownership in your work

This is a full-time role. Our client is committed to building a strong studio culture as well as flexible working practices. This includes some time working in the office with the team.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Bid Manager: 5 years (preferred)
