Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities:
The primary role is to oversee and provide ongoing support for the computerized lab quality systems within the quality control (QC) department. This includes maintaining their functionality, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, FDA standards, and GXP regulations. Additionally, the position involves effectively managing and directing the daily activities of project resources and contractors in the LES group, who are responsible for supporting the lab systems..

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for managing and supporting the quality control (QC) computerized lab quality systems.
- Primary focus is on ensuring compliance with industry best practices, FDA standards, and GXP regulations.
- Oversee data backups, install software upgrades, and perform quality management activities related to qualification, validation, and change management.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders, including business process owners and quality assurance, the role will involve facilitating system changes, documenting compliance, and conducting periodic reviews.
- Provide technical support, develop validation documentation, and assist with laboratory instrument software qualification.
- Expertise in maintaining documentation, engaging with vendors for service restoration, and ensuring the compliance and availability of lab systems. Continuous process improvement and implementing new technologies to enhance operational performance are also key responsibilities.

Let’s talk about the required skills:

- Experience in writing Validation Documents, Risk Assessments, Verification plans, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with current Internet technologies and protocols is advantageous.
- Preferred experience with Waters Empower, QMS, and LIMS systems.
- Preferred experience in Analytical, Pre-Formulation, and Formulation system software.
- Thorough knowledge of Windows XP, 7, and 10, Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, Active Directory, storage and backup devices, VMWare, Routers, Switches, and other solutions.
- Familiarity with server, storage, and virtualization standards, techniques, and tools. Acronis knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in standard software packages including Microsoft Office and Adobe productivity tools.
