About the Role:

Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to find a talented Data Support Analyst with strong Excel skills and a passion for accuracy and data integrity. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting business-critical decisions through precise data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, clean, and analyse large healthcare data sets from multiple systems
  • Use Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas to produce insightful reports
  • Assist with data validation, error checking, and reconciliation activities
  • Prepare and maintain regular performance, compliance, and operational reports
  • Collaborate with healthcare and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Identify data trends and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Ensure all work complies with data governance and healthcare privacy standards (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR)

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Support Analyst, or similar role
  • Non-negotiable: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, formula creation, and Pivot Table reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate data findings for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working within a healthcare, clinical, or regulated environment (highly desirable)
  • Exposure to other data tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Access) would be advantageous
