**The role**:As the Environmental Superintendent you will be responsible for leading a team of eight people covering Environment, Communities, Indigenous affairs, Permitting.

**Title**: Environmental Superintendent (FIFO / Mining)

**Location**: Brisbane

**Salary**: $160,000-$220,000 + Short Term + Long Term Bonus

**Roster**: 8/6/5/4

**Company**: Nationally Recognised Mining Company

**Reports to**: HSEC Manager

**Development**: Opportunity to advance into HSEC Manager role

**Team size**: 8 members

**The mine site**: High performing / profitable mine site

**Culture**: Steady, experienced, well-established site

**Priorities for the person coming into the role**:

- Need someone with Environmental leadership experience on mining operation, confident and excellent communication skills
- The person needs to be experienced in permitting / regulatory body
- Experience with ground water and working with the regulator on that issue, would be helpful.
- Improvement in environmental and community relations management and systems.
- Manage site environmental compliance, reporting and statutory investigations.
