We are currently seeking a
Maintenance Superintendent
to lead a skilled maintenance team on a major resource project. This is a FIFO role from Brisbane on a balanced 10/4 roster, offering stability, leadership responsibility, and career growth with a company known for delivering results.

About the Role

As Maintenance Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of mobile plant maintenance ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations across the fleet. You will lead the onsite maintenance team, drive preventative maintenance schedules, manage contractors, and ensure optimal asset performance.

This is a key leadership position responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Driving plant availability and reliability through best-practice maintenance.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of trades and supervisors.
  • Managing breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and planning.
  • Reporting on KPIs, budget performance, and maintenance metrics.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Superintendent on a mine site
  • Extensive experience working with mobile plant equipment in a mining or contracting environment (e.g. CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu).
  • Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical / Diesel Fitter) or degree in engineering highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.
  • A genuine commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
