The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Dozer Push Superintendent to lead and manage all dozer push, clearing, and ancillary equipment operations in a large-scale open-cut hard rock mining environment. The role ensures safe, efficient support to production activities, infrastructure development, and site maintenance, contributing directly to the overall mine plan execution and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead dozer and ancillary equipment operations, including slotting, dump shaping, road building, and site clearing.
• Oversee clearing, topsoil stripping, rehabilitation, and general earthworks.
• Align ancillary activities with mine plans and schedules through coordination with planning and production teams.
• Manage equipment allocation and priorities to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Supervise and develop supervisors, operators, and support crews across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Monitor and report on productivity, equipment utilization, and operational KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost performance.

About You

• Relevant qualification in Mining, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in open-pit mining operations.
• Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or superintendent-level role, managing multi-skilled teams and mobile equipment fleets.
• Strong understanding of surface mining operations, including equipment capabilities, ground conditions, and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
