**About the Role**

Due to the acquisition of new contracts and continued business growth we have an immediate requirement for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our client based in Murarrie.

**An overview is below**
- Implements and monitors work practices and standards to ensure QA/QC, environmental and safe work procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure project is compliant with business systems - Safety, Quality, Operations, HR, Procurement etc.
- Champion of Safe Work systems and behaviours
- Works with the safety and quality co-ordinators to ensure the project has safety plans and procedures as well as operational policy procedures in place.
- Set-up and maintains production reports to monitor progress of site works enabling accurate assessment for progress claims and project appraisal forecasts.
- Develops project schedules to optimise manning levels and timely completion of contract works.
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in a in Civil/Structural Construction Industry
- Significant experience managing and leading teams
- Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong decision making and negotiating skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
