A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within Olympus for a **After Sales Account Manager - Service Contracts. **In this role you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing Service contract customers and expanding our new service contract opportunities with key Olympus accounts.
Through a customer focused approach, you will be assisting our customers with identification of their service needs and help facilitate solutions that with strengthen and grow a profitable service contract market share across our Medical portfolio.
As the conduit between our customers and Service teams, the need to be able to build effective and lasting relationships as well as bring strong negotiation skills and high attention to detail will be key to your success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Reach and maintain a daily call quota to existing and potential customers with service contract offerings for presentation, follow up and contract execution
- Build the service contract sales funnel and developing leads through preparation and interpretation of service reports
- Communicate leads to the respective sales counterparts for development and service contract execution
- Build and maintain a customer database including potential opportunities
- Follow-up of renewable service proposals with a focus on contract execution
- Monitor new purchases and facilitate creation of service contract proposals to sales team for follow up
- Create, utilise and interpret repair analysis for customer explanation
- Follow-ups of service contract quotes including Customer Purchase Orders, Signed Acceptance Schedules and negotiated Terms and Conditions.
- Build strong customer relationships in line with the company core values (Empathy, Integrity, Agility, Unity & Long-Term View).
- Communicate features and benefits of the service contract business portfolio to internal and external customers.

**What we are looking for**:
- Sales experience within the medical device industry preferred
- Tertiary studies in Business, Marketing or similar field will be highly regarded
- Proven sales achiever with clear understanding of the sales cycle
- Strong customer account management and negotiation skills
- Ability to quickly build relationships
- Ability to work independently or as a team player
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM software such as Salesforce desirable
