About the role
We have an incredible opportunity for a new team member to join our Middle Office team. This is a diverse
role that requires someone who is energetic, meticulous and passionate.

Securities and Investments Commission (AFSL No. 438283) which authorises it to carry on a financial services business in Australia.
- Key duties and responsibilities- Reporting - Assisting with the daily operations and reconciliations of the business;
- Onboarding - Both legal and technical onboarding of new clients including liaising with external vendors
and internal legal compliance and IT teams;
- Process Improvement - Working closely with the assigned squads and management team to improve
systems and processes of the business;
- Responsibility for the anticipation, identification, measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of
all the operational risks to which the company may be exposed;
- Ensuring that the regulatory and internal risk limits are compatible with the strategies, activities and
organisation/ operational structure of the company;
- Monitoring compliance with the risk limits set out to various counterparties and ensuring proper
escalation procedures in case of breach;
- Designing procedures to prevent re-occurrences of operational breaches;
- Preparing, at least once a year, a summary report on the risk control function activities and its
operation and submitting to the Board of Directors of the company;
- Assist in the preparation and controls testing for the annual JSOX reporting;
- Assist in the preparation and controls testing for internal audit review;
- Help develop an operational risk culture by ensuring compliance with operational risk governance
procedures and policies by delivering training where required;
- Responsible for the timely identification, reporting and escalation of all identified Operational Risk exposures;
- Contribute to squad meetings and deliver ad hoc projects;
- Ensure all activity is in accordance with the relevant regulatory obligations, company policies and procedures.

- About you- Tertiary qualification in Finance/Economics or similar is essential
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services
- Experience in Financial Services is essential, preferably in the OTC CFD space
- Some middle or back office experience at a trading firm, bank, or other financial institution with experience
working with a trade or position-based level of granularity (eg position/ cash reconciliations, corporate
actions) is a definite plus
- Advanced or Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- SQL, Python, programming languages added advantage
