Our client, a prominent federal agency, is currently seeking to engage two highly motivated APS6 Coordinators to join their dynamic teams for an initial period of 6 months, with view to extend.

We are seeking people with experience in providing high-quality coordination, advice, management and support services to our ministerial offices, the executive and the department.

**The roles available**:
**Senate Estimates Coordinator**

This role is primarily responsible for the coordination of Senate Estimates and Joint Committee hearings for the department.

Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Managing, tracking and reporting of Senate Estimates and Joint Committee responses to Questions on Notice using PDMS
- Coordinating the Hansard corrections after hearings;
- Coordinating responses to Parliamentary Questions on Notice
- Liaising with the Senate Estimates Committee Secretariats and Joint Committee Secretariats on public hearing processes and matters;
- Providing advice and assistance to Divisional Unit Coordinators
- Organising and providing secretariat duties to the department and relevant agencies appearing at Senate Estimates and Joint Committee hearing hearings;

**Ministerial Visits Coordinator**

This role will work within the Ministerial International Travel (MIT) team which is primarily responsible for the coordination of international travel and associated briefings for our portfolio ministers. Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Seeking the necessary approvals for international travel
- Coordination and/or preparation of briefing material for the minister in relation to international visits
- Liaising with key stakeholders (ministerial offices, executives, divisional contacts), across government and overseas consular posts in relation to international visit logistics and briefings.
- Provision of high quality and timely advice to portfolio ministerial offices and the department in relation to ministerial international travel responsibilities, processes and procedures, including flights, visa requirements, gifts and security risks/briefings.
- Other duties as directed, which relate to other responsibilities of the ministerial international travel team.
