**APS6 Program Officer**

Fantastic non-ongoing or S26 opportunity within a very unique and interesting section
You will build relationships with Commonwealth and Local Council whilst working with a very appreciative and friendly team by your side

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage/assist with contracts with service providers and review monthly reports
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of wider agency policies and objectives
- Prepare and coordinate correspondence including briefs and other documents
- Manage procurement and contract management
- Provide input and oversight on budget measures for the section
- Provide high quality secretariat services including logístical coordination of meetings, preparation of complex papers and minute taking

To be shortlisted for interview, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Demonstrated skills in policy and/or programs
- Familiarity with contract management/procurement and related processes
- Research and problem solving skills
- Strong writing skills to brief on complex issues
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and work collaboratively within the branch
- Outstanding communication skills and time management skills

The role may require occasional interstate travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
