Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

**Purpose of Role**

To deliver relevant and transparent information to QTC’s global fixed income investor audience about Queensland and QTC’s funding program, including digital and print communications and investor events. An important part of the position involves building and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders to provide communication advice and manage content updates and compliance requirements.

**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Prepare and coordinate communications for the financial markets, including market announcements, investor updates and publications; includes coordinating all Japanese translations.
- Coordinate the Institutional Investor of QTC’s website, including regular updates, compliance checks and new site area developments.
- Coordinate updates to QTC’s Investor Book, including key messages and content, cross-checking data and coordinating amendments with QTC and Treasury stakeholders.
- Coordinate QTC’s Green Bond Annual Report, including drafting, managing content submissions, approvals and publishing.
- Provide communications advice as member of QTC’s Green Bond Committee, including reviewing and editing Treasury’s annual Queensland Sustainability report.
- Develop targeted communications for editorial and content sponsorships in relevant financial trade publications.
- Maintain and update the Institutional Investor section of QTC’s website and manage updates and enhancements.
- Provide analytics from digital channels that include strategic insights for reporting and enhancement purposes.
- Coordinate investor events - oversee development and updates of marketing materials and publications; coordinate logistics including supervision of any required EA support; work closely with relevant colleagues on development of content (agendas, messaging); support preparation (presentations, talking points, briefing notes)
- Issues management and crisis communication - manage key message bank and issues register for wider Communications team; develop briefs and messages to prepare for any potential issues; provide support in managing any live issues or crises, including preparing responses to media or investor queries.
- Help manage relevant relationships with Treasury and Treasurer’s office in relation to investor communication activities.
- Provide strategic and execution support as needed for Corporate Communication strategies and projects including Corporate Annual Report, internal communications, LinkedIn strategy, QTC web presence, etc.
- Manage procurement and compliance requirements as needed.

- Desktop publishing skills will be highly regarded

**Qualifications**

Essential
- Degree qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing or business/finance
- 3+ years’ corporate communication experience (understanding of financial markets will be highly regarded)

Desirable
- Experience in digital communications and related fields
- Financial market experience or qualification
