Bring your proven outstanding experience in stakeholder engagement and communication to this role, where you will:

- Manage high level programs and stakeholder and community engagement activities and develop and implement high level communications strategies that support the QRA objectives of helping to make Queensland the most disaster resilient state in Australia.
- Manage the strategy, implementation and budget for the Get Ready Queensland program, which includes local government grants, stakeholder engagement, sponsorship and partnership contracts, as well as the development of public awareness campaigns, marketing, communications, community events and media.
- Manage the strategy, implementation and budget for the If It's Flooded Forget It campaign, which includes stakeholder engagement, public awareness campaigns, marketing, communications, community events and media.
- Work with the Director, Strategy and Engagement to promote effective engagement and communications for QRA and its key external stakeholders, taking accountability for supporting regional and industry stakeholder relationships.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with external stakeholders, particularly other federal, state and local government agencies contributing to disaster resilience.
- Provide specialist advice to the QRA leadership team on the organisation's response to emerging stakeholder issues and opportunities.
- Provide timely updates to the General Manager, senior management team and key project stakeholders in relation to responsible projects.
- Represent the Director or General Manager in meetings and at forums where appropriate.
- This role manages a team of up to 7 and reports to the Director, Strategy and Engagement.
