About the role
- Leading and managing the Farm underwriting team in WA/SA to deliver professional underwriting standards and meet financial targets.
- Developing and implementing operational plans and process improvements to ensure market-leading service and compliance.
- Serving as a key contact for assigned brokers and fostering strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Collaborating with underwriting and distribution teams to optimize pipeline management, maximize conversion and retention, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identifying and resolving local risk and compliance issues while promoting sustainability initiatives within the Farm portfolio.

About you
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, with industry accreditations where applicable.
- Extensive experience in operational underwriting within a general insurance environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and legislative compliance impacting the insurance industry.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver clear and influential messages.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
