Our client is a growing company in the Life Insurance space and they genuinely do things differently. Due to their growth, they are looking for a talented underwriter who can bring their skills and talents to their business.

Reporting into the Head of Underwriting, you will be responsible for the assessment of new business, additions and alterations for all risk products, making underwriting decisions according to company guidelines, ensuring underwriting decisions are made in accordance to underwriting standards, mentoring the tele interview consultants and working closely with the leadership teams.

**Role Requirments**:

- Proven life underwriting experience in either group or retail (preferential)
- Diploma of Financial Planning, Diploma of Life Insurance, ALUCA qualifications, Chartered Insurance Institute / Academy of Life Underwriting qualifications
- Ability to think differently
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A passion for the industry
