The Carers is an independent boutique home care provider with over 30 years of working in the home care industry. We are based just near Fremantle & our client base is south of the river
In this position you will be working in a collaborative team environment and be supported in your training by our very patient experienced scheduler.
This role is very diverse.
There will be days of scheduling, providing support to our care staff team and our clients on a daily basis, days of administration including processing payroll and invoices, recruiting our care staff and general admin duties.
The Carers management is fully committed to supporting our staff in the delivery of quality home care that reassures our clients and their family. Our services will provide the care, support and assistance that meets each person’s needs & goals.
**Key Responsibilities of this role**:
- Scheduling care staff in regular & relief services
- Recording and adjusting staff rosters using our rostering system “Deputy”
- Adjusting rosters, where possible, as per clients request and preferences
- Ensure scheduling of staff is logístically sound and represents an efficient and effective use of staffing resources.
- Adjust rosters to cover unplanned changes in client requests, staff availability, including sick leave, personal leave and emergency replacements.
- Ensuring appropriate skills and compatibility of staff with clients
- Supervision & support of care staff
- Daily checking and processing of Deputy timesheets, in preparation for payroll and invoicing
- Fortnightly processing of payroll and invoices
- Recruitment of new care staff
- General administration duties
**Desirable Skills**
- Previous scheduling experience preferably in community aged care
- Excellent communication interpersonal and analytical skills to develop effective working relationships, promote services and resolve client issues
- Demonstrated administration skills with the ability to multi task
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills for prioritising your own workload and meeting conflicting deadlines in a busy and demanding environment
- Exceptional customer service skills and a confident and professional phone manner
- Numeral literacy with the ability to check and analyse payroll & invoice information accurately
- Ability to work autonomously and also within a collaborative scheduling team
- Excellent computer literacy with an ability to learn and embrace new technology solutions
- Covid Vaccinations & if eligible Covid Booster
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
**Salary**: Negotiable
Must be double vaccinated with booster within the required timeframe. PPE's supplied
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $55,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
