**About The Role**
This is an opportunity for a dynamic Senior Operations Leader to join Anglicare, reporting to the Chief Executive
- Community and Mission. In this role, you'll be responsible for enabling the evolution of Community and Mission into great effectiveness in service delivery, while driving the conversion of strategy into actions that make an impact for those we serve.
You will build the capability with CaM leaders to ensure sustainability of Community and Mission services over the longer term. You will maintain thought leadership in Anglicare concerning the community in which we operate, changing community needs and expectations, and opportunities to expand Anglicare’s impact through our operations in a missionally aligned and financially viable manner.

This role is flexibly based at either our Support office (Norwest) or at an Anglicare Community services site within Greater Sydney metro area. Travel to Community and mission sites is required.
Key responsibilities include and not limited to:
- Work with the Chief Executive to develop and implement strategies to transform the Community and Mission business unit guided by our purpose and values.
- Embed the consideration of impact and outcomes for customers in project prioritisation and resource allocation.
- Drive operational transformation in the way we work, building accountability in a high performing culture and strong people capabilities, while enhancing our use of technology for the benefit of our customers, and protecting and growing our reputation.
- Drive operational planning processes and coordinate action across Community and Mission to formulate strategies to achieve and exceed client/customer deliverables understanding and translating the values of Anglicare into the way services are delivered to clients.
- Deliver operational management of a growing number of sites as they are developed towards the new model.
- Ensures local administration and site issues are managed effectively and promptly by supporting administrative staff.
- Lead people in a way that is aligned to values, and inspire our people, stakeholders, and customers with storytelling and effective written and spoken communication.
- Foster a values-aligned culture that builds the capabilities of our people.
- Effectively succession plan and develop talent within Community and Mission and Anglicare
- Work collaboratively to ensure financial sustainability while being mindful of both fixed and variable costs as levers for sustainability and profitability.
**About You**
- Action orientated strategic thinking and planning skills with demonstrated ability to adapt when needed.
- Strong customer focus, including an understanding of human centred operating model design focused on customer experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with a competitive nature
- Strong leadership, influencing, management, team building, communication, consulting, and negotiation skills with the ability to create a high performing culture within a human services team.
- Organisational and decision-making ability including effective Change Management expertise.
- Agility and responsiveness
- comfortable adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a human services workforce within a client/customer-oriented environment at a senior management level
- Understanding of a for purpose business environment and strong commercial acumen
- Substantial people and change leadership experience
- Extensive experience integrating strategies across different disciplines such as people and culture, technology and communications to deliver whole of business outcomes
- Experience integrating technology as an enabler across systems and processes
- Experience leading or strong understanding of customer centric transformations and/or programmes of work
- Experience in business planning, project planning and governance, and change implementation
- Demonstrated ability to build strong networks and influence across teams and with stakeholders
- Holding a mature Christian faith consistent with the beliefs of the Anglican Church, and a familiarity with the Sydney Anglican Diocese.
