Snack Proud is a snack company supplying healthy drinks, snacks, and pantry supplies to Melbourne corporate customers.
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Casual/ Part-Time Pantry Manager.
This role involves weekly replenishment of snacks and drinks in our customers’ kitchens ; ensuring efficient stock management; maintaining positive relationships with clients, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organisation of the pantry areas.
Snack proud is based in Sydney, so this role will involve being the ‘face of Snack Proud’ for our Melbourne customers.
**Responsibilities**:
**Stock Management**:
- Receive and put away stock on shelves, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Refill drinks fridges and snack displays regularly to maintain an appealing and well-stocked pantry.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and update inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Place new orders for replenishing stock based on demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with key accounts, serving as the main point of contact.
- Proactively address client inquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Understand and meet clients' specific requirements and preferences to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Provide product recommendations and educate clients about new offerings to promote upselling.
**Kitchen Maintenance**:
- Ensure kitchens and pantry areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Coordinate with cleaning staff to schedule regular deep cleaning sessions.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or equipment issues to the appropriate departments.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Act as a liaison between clients and the ordering team, sharing feedback, requests, and suggestions.
- Collaborate with the ordering team to identify trends and opportunities to optimize product offerings.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Prior experience in hospitality or stock management is preferred or maybe you just nail your pantry and kitchen at home.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate stock counts and proper rotation.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- Familiarity with basic kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Basic computer skills to place top-up orders on our ordering system.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting and carrying boxes, standing for extended periods, and moving stock as required.
- Some who is flexible as hours or sometimes days each shift can occasionally change.
2 Shifts per week between 3 - 6 hours (Will confirm on interview)
Typically Tuesday and Thursday but we can flex around your schedule
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10 - 12 per week
**Salary**: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
