We are looking for a Risk and Control Analyst to join our Finance and Control team based in Rhodes, Sydney. You will have a lead role in driving the company’s ability to identify, assess, mitigate and report on risks. You will possess an analytical, process-driven mindset combined with people and communication skills that you will use to engage different levels of stakeholders in the company.
Partnering with various functions and businesses across Oceania, you will drive initiatives to achieve Risk Control and Business Continuity targets and requirements. You will also be Oceania’s single point of contact for Regional and Global Internal Control Centre of Compliance stakeholders.
**A day in the life**
- Partnering with various business or functional units to:
- Drive risk identification, assessment, analysis and mitigation on all aspects of the business.
- Analyse, report, assess and advise stakeholders on Key Risks Indicators
- Detect, assess, and mitigate the risks associated with segregation of duties (SOD) exceptions and highly sensitive roles,
- Data sourcing and gathering, analysing and reporting the yearly assessment on control effectiveness.
- Drive implementation of management actions on risks detected in an internal or external audit.
- Assisting and coordinating with factories and other sites in developing and testing business continuity plans.
- Involvement in projects to provide services on risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
- Provide awareness training on risk assessment, reporting and mitigation to business units, factories and distribution centres.
**What will make you successful**
- You will have a professional qualification like CA/ CPA/ CIA/ CFE/ IRM Certification with 2 to 4 years of experience in internal audit or risk management.
- You must have an analytical and process-driven mindset.
- You will possess outstanding communication and presentation skills and use these to adapt your style to different levels of stakeholders in the company.
- You will have the resilience to challenge the status quo and drive change.
