**Position Summary
We are looking for an exceptional and motivated Payroll Specialist to join our Oceania team in Rhodes.

In this role you will be a key contributor within the business for payroll across monthly and weekly paid employees, covering both white, and blue collar sectors.

**A day in the life
We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist with outstanding people skills to join our HR Team, reporting to the Payroll Manager. Nestlé is looking for a strong team player with a history of delivering positive results in a dynamic environment.

**Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, analyse, and resolve payroll issues
- Monitor critical payroll processing timelines
- Communication with stakeholders for risk mitigation.
- Provide expert level support in relation to policy, EBA, CEA, award queries and technical issues
- Working in partnership with off shore processing team in processing payroll activities, including issue resolution
- Approving payroll transactions including final pays, backpays, overpayments, manual interventions.
- Key contact for escalated payroll queries, redundancy calculations and payroll audit preparations.

**What will make you successful
- Suited to someone who has 3-5 years payroll experience and has end to end payroll understanding
- You will have solid excel skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes essential.
- Knowledge and use of SAP, SuccessFactors is essential whilst knowledge of Kronos will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work with remote team members and demonstrated experience in business continuity planning.
- A confident communicator and collaborator to build relationships with stakeholders at Nestlé locations across Australia and New Zealand.
- A strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation.
- Strong curiosity, organisation skills, results orientation, with the ability to prioritise.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
