**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Our client is currently seeking an experienced HSSE Advisor for a Perth-based role A leading company in the safety industry, with a great work culture that celebrates diversity, looking for the right fit to grow with its already growing company.

**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the HSSE Supervisor, the HSSE Advisor will be one of the go to on site for team members.

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Ensure all employees have the relevant competencies and certification to perform their work
- Ensure Toolbox talks are effectively performed as per the company & project the requirements in the applicable languages and report back to HSSE Supervisor on any shortfalls
- Advice/guide site employees on selection, use, limitations, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment and monitor the performance
- Perform Level 1 HSSE inspections as stated in project HSSE Plan and report back to the HSSE Supervisor on your findings
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of project HSSE requirements, specifically the HSSE plan, and ensure full implementation and compliance on site
- Ensure the Project HSSE plan is fully communicated, and a copy is available on-site for use by project staff
- Communication of HSSE Policy, applicable legal requirements, HSSE information, and lessons learned to all project personnel / in the are6a of responsibility. Ensure employees are aware of the HSSE Bulletins and the notice boards are constantly updated with the relevant HSSE information

**ABOUT YOU**
- Cert IV WHS (Essential)
- Minimum 5 Years’ experience in an HSSE Advisor role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Previous experience investigating incidents
- Must be ambitious and thrive to succeed
- Goal orientated
- Lead by example
