We are seeking an experienced or graduate Environmental Health Officer passionate about environmental health duties.
About You
Qualified Environmental Health Officer or graduate seeking a role in a fast-paced, growing council.
This is a great opportunity to gain broad exposure to Environmental Health.
You will maintain the environmental health and amenity of the Shire's community through core monitoring tasks, focusing on customer service and teamwork.
The Role
As an Environmental Health Officer, your duties include:
Food safety assessments and guidance for food businesses
Ensuring safety of public buildings and events
Health risk assessments for planning and building applications
Safe treatment and disposal of sewage and waste
Responding to service requests to minimize hazards
Supporting community health initiatives
You will also participate in light industry programs, primary production audits, and process improvements.
