Temporary Position to Begin with a Leading Local Employer
- Brisbane Bayside Suburb | $40 - $45 Per Hour + Super
- Hybrid Working Environment | Supportive Team
**The Position**
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and working alongside the HR Business Partners, you will be responsible for the provision of timely, expert client-focused advice and support on all generalist HR functions. This team is seeking an enthusiastic HR professional who is motivated and willing to learn a new industry space to deliver high quality HR advice. This role would suit a HR Officer/Coordinator who is looking to round out their skills and be mentored through the next stage of their career.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide basic advice on ER/IR matters, interpreting modern awards, Fair Work Act and the National Employment Standard;
- Produce generalist advice, coaching and training to leaders with regards to performance management, industrial relations, remuneration and best practice HR solutions;
- Develop and implement new initiatives, strategies and processes to improve the performance and delivery within HR;
- Assist in the learning and development needs through the development of programs and activities with the wider HR team.
**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, management or a business-related discipline will come highly regarded;
- Demonstrated fundamental ER/IR knowledge;
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively in a complex and changing environment
- Confident in HR best practice and providing sound advice;
- Team focused attitude whilst also maintaining the ability to work autonomously is essential in this environment as well as strong communication skills.
