**Your next role**

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to manage critical aspects of our Supply Chain and Purchasing activities and provide leadership to our Purchasing and Stores Teams. You should have proven capabilities in managing teams, a supplier base and supply contracts. You will also have the ability to develop strategic relationships with suppliers and formulate risk mitigation strategies to ensure that purchasing initiatives and timely resolution of potential bottlenecks improve the overall performance of our manufacturing and engineering project efforts. This is a senior role within the organisation, and will involve high level planning, organising, leadership and control.

**What the role will involve**

On any given shift you could be responsible for:

- Ensuring the efficient and timely supply of quality COTS and custom materials and subcontracted services in support of both production and engineering requirements.
- Ensuring adherence to and continuous improvement and maintenance of established procedures in accordance with the AS9100D quality system.
- Overseeing purchasing and stores activities to ensure compliance with recordkeeping, integrity and accuracy of inventory in the ERP system, security and export control requirements.
- Management of internal processes and suppliers using a metrics-based methodology to track and communicate performance and allow for corrective action, where required.
- Implementation of, and reporting against Corporate processes and procedures.
- Actively participate in bids and proposals.

**What you’ll bring**

You will need to have some or all of the following experience and skills to be successful:

- Australian Citizenship and ITAR eligibility.
- Qualifications in Business/Supply Chain/Purchasing.
- Relevant experience within a Purchasing and Stores environment.
- Experience supervising or managing small to medium sized teams.
- Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Discretion with confidential and/or sensitive information.

**Security Requirements**

Applicants also need to meet the necessary requirements to be eligible to work with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and experience with export control will be considered as beneficial.
